Unlike many conventional machine tools, waterjet uses a flexible cutting medium. Using abrasive waterjet to cut, versus other methods, has a plethora of advantages (no heat affected zones, no limitations on material type, etc). Moreover, an abrasive waterjet is a machine tool that shows its true potential when cutting sophisticated geometry through an assortment of materials.
