Field Service Technician (1 Opening in Orlando, Florida) & (1 Opening in Richmond, Virginia)
Install new machines and provide post-installation support services at customer locations world-wide (Road-warrior travel). Must have a 2-year technical school degree or equivalent, 3 years previous experience as a field service technician, a current passport and driver's license, excellent mechanical and electrical control system aptitude, and the ability to routinely lift 75 pounds.
Human Resources Generalist
Assist our HR Manager with a variety of day-to-day HR functions. Apply, monitor and enforce employment laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Responsible for providing expertise on laws that impact the company such as EEO, Worker's Compensation, FSLA, OSHA, OWBPA, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and other federal, state, or local regulations. Requirements include a minimum of three years' Human Resources experience in a fast paced, high volume, customer focused environment, plus a BA/BS in Human Resources Management or a related field.
Utilize manual machinery to complete simple operations such as drilling, tapping, deburring and surface conditioning. Order new parts and material to maintain inventory. Assist with production machinery set-up by gathering tools and materials required by the bill of operations. Ensure completion of all products to production, quality and technical specification. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, the ability to read and comprehend instructions in English, and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Design mechanical and electro-mechanical components and systems for use in OMAX Abrasive Water Jet Machining Tables, Pumps, and Accessories. Participate in hands-on activities to procure, assemble, test and troubleshoot potential designs prior to Manufacturing release. Must have an Associate's Degree, focusing on Pre-Engineering or 3d Modeling/Drafting, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 5 year's experience in mechanical design, including the preparation of detailed manufacturing drawings. In addition, the qualified candidate will have experience with motion control, pneumatics, hydraulic systems, and a proficiency with 3D parametric-based CAD software (SolidWorks preferred), Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Assist manufacturing facilities in setting up lines and cells to build new and existing products using modern 'lean' manufacturing practices. Design tooling and custom equipment to support assembly and testing, with the latest solid modeling and abrasive waterjet technology. Must have a BS in Manufacturing Engineering, 3 + year's relevant manufacturing experience, be proficient with SolidWorks, MS Word, Excel and Outlook, and have a broad knowledge of production machinery, CNC machine centers, tooling, programming, machining processes, assembly tools and processes.
Pick and stage inventory against sales orders, work orders and materials requisitions; perform cycle counts and data entry as required. Prepare spares orders for shipping and special assignments as required. Must have a minimum of one-year experience, preferably with an Original Equipment Manufacturer, the ability to operate a forklift, and good computer experience. Knowledge of M.R.P desirable.
Receive, count and document all incoming shipments; verify that incoming freight conforms to information on receiving documents and is not damaged. Requirements include a minimum of one-year experience as a clerk in inventory or warehouse, preferably in an original equipment-manufacturing environment, forklift experience, a working knowledge of computer (MS Office) and e-mail communications, the ability to accurately count incoming shipments and make arithmetic calculations such as units of measure conversions, and have basic knowledge of Kanban principles.
Software Developer UX/UI
Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups leading to intuitive user experiences. Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions; make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features; and coordinate with developer team on issues like navigation, page routing, product page design. Requirements include a BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS or a related field or equivalent practical experience, plus 3 or more years of UX design experience.
Senior Mechanical Designer
Design precision components for High Pressure Pumps, Control Valves, Nozzles and Assemblies for use in Abrasive Water Jet Machining Systems; participate as a presenter or reviewer at design reviews and related meetings, and provide troubleshooting support to resolve issues on the production floor and at customer sites. Must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, and a minimum 5 years product design experience of complex machinery and/or mechanisms for production that are reliable, manufacturable and serviceable. Additional requirements include, experience with stress analysis, both analytical and FEA, a solid understanding of mechanical properties of materials, especially fatigue properties; and a high proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Perform various engineering calculations required to confirm system and component suitability and capability; develop test plans to ensure product meets design goals for both performance and longevity based on an understanding of the range of customer use cases; and take ownership of assigned projects, from design through release to Manufacturing, following documented OMAX procedures. Must have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Masters or PHD preferred; plus a minimum of 5 years product design experience of complex machinery. Prior experience in High Pressure Technology (20Ksi and above) is highly desirable.
Senior Mechanical Engineer Lead
Provide design leadership and supervision to a team of mechanical engineers, designers and drafters working on new product development and sustaining engineering activities for Abrasive Waterjet Machining Systems. Requirements include a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 10 years of relevant work experience, mechanical design and analysis skills including statics, dynamics, and kinematics, strength of materials, stress analysis and FEA. Must have solid experience with motion control, pneumatics and hydraulic systems, and highly proficient in SolidWorks.
Senior Technicial Writer
Produce and maintain technical documents relating to manufacturing of OMAX abrasive waterjet equipment, products, and accessories. Support product assembly using SolidWorks 3D CAD assemblies, guidance from the Product Designer, and experience from the Production Assembler to represent manufacturing in documenting the assembly process as well as any design issues. Update released documents based upon product changes and any feedback from OMAX distributors, customers and OMAX personnel. Must have BA in applicable field, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 8 years of experience as a technical writer in manufacturing industries. Additional requirements include, the ability to produce technical documentation in multiple formats including, but not limited to PDF, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, the ability to develop publication-ready documents as well as the capability of opening SolidWorks 3D CAD assemblies, and identify the parts and location required to support development of assembly procedures. Experience using SolidWorks Composer is a plus.
Software Tester (Machine)
Operate OMAX abrasive waterjet machines manually testing OMAX software to look for bugs, confusing points, conflicts, and potential problems. Document all results in a clear, concise and organized manner. Experience with machine tools and CAD/CAM, one-year formal experience with programming language, and proficiency in all operational aspects of Windows XP through Windows 10 is required. Must have experience debugging and testing software, as well as creating, maintaining and translating comprehensive documentation with excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
