Applications Specialist

This role supports the sales department by performing customer demonstrations, completing test cuts, programming parts and offering applications support. The position is of a customer facing and technical nature and requires interaction with customers, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Technical, and Customer Service.  The successful candidate will program complex, 3-D CAD based 5 and 6-axis programs, and have the ability to cut precision 2, 3 and 5-axis parts using waterjet technology.  A two-year Technical degree and/or two years of relative work experience, plus excellent verbal and written communication, and mathematical (geometry and trigonometry) skills required.

Responsibilities include purchasing and negotiating materials, components fabrication and equipment. In addition, you will develop, evaluate, and qualify new supply sources to determine the best possible value in compliance with quantity and quality.  Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field plus 5 or more years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; knowledge of manufacturing procedures, materials and processes; the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; as well as solid communication and analytical skills.

Electro-Mechanical Production Assembler

Apply comprehensive mechanical/electrical skills in the assembly of standard mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical equipment systems. This includes interpretation of bill of materials, blueprints, pneumatic and hydraulic as well as electrical schematics.  Requires knowledge in routing wires, assembles and installing low voltage electrical and electronic components, such as circuit boards, communication (CAT5) and power cables, terminal boxes, main control switch panels, and instrument panels, according to specifications, using hand tools, and other equipment.  Vocational or accredited certification within the electrical/mechanical field is preferred. Must have 3-5 years of advanced electro-mechanical assembly experience with an original equipment manufacturer, furnish own tools, routinely lift 75 lbs. and work overtime as needed.

Senior Mechanical Designer

Design precision components for High Pressure Pumps, Control Valves, Nozzles and Assemblies for use in Abrasive Water Jet Machining Systems; participate as a presenter or reviewer at design reviews and related meetings, and provide troubleshooting support to resolve issues on the production floor and at customer sites. Must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, and a minimum 5 years product design experience of complex machinery and/or mechanisms for production that are reliable, manufacturable and serviceable. Additional requirements include, experience with stress analysis, both analytical and FEA, a solid understanding of mechanical properties of materials, especially fatigue properties; and a high proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).

Senior Mechanical Drafter

Create solid models and detailed drawings for complex parts and assemblies with minimal supervision.  Plan and define Bill of Materials (BOM) structures with project lead, and work with suppliers to help purchase parts for projects.  Participate in hands-on activities to assemble, test and troubleshoot potential designs prior to Manufacturing release.  Minimum requirements include an Associate’s Degree focused on Pre-Engineering, or 1-year Certification Program focused on 3D Modeling/Drafting; plus 5 years of experience in mechanical drafting, familiarity with correct use of geometric tolerances and current ANSI drafting standards, and proficient with 3D parametric-based CAD software (SolidWorks preferred), as well as basic Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Provide design leadership and supervision to a small team of mechanical engineers working on new product development activities for Abrasive Waterjet Machining Systems.
