Field Service Technician (1 Southern and 1 Northern California)

The selected candidate for this position will report to the Field Service Supervisor. This person will travel to domestic and/or global customer locations weekly from your home location. Uncrating and inventory of the OMAX supplied equipment. Perform system test - repair correct anything not operating properly. Ensure job is complete and the site is clean and tidy. Machine trouble shooting assistance. 2 years of technical school degree or equivalent. 3 years previous experience as a field service technician. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Auto CAD (or similar) drafting software experience. Ability to lift 75 pounds.

Machinist (4 - Second Shift)

Perform complex & specialized machining of all metals including polymers while responding appropriately to ensure completion of all products to production, quality and technical specification. Must have a minimum of five years' experience operating CNC equipment (lathe, mill, radial drill, saw, etc.) in the metal machining industry. Must be self-motivated, a strong team player, accept responsibility and accountability and demonstrate flexibility. High school diploma or equivalent with a two-year Technical Degree or equivalent experience. Large milling machine and 4-axis milling experience strongly desired.

Machinist Assistant

Utilize manual machinery to complete simple operations such as drilling, tapping, deburring and surface conditioning. Competent usage of basic Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word and Excel. Tend and observe equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation.

Production Assembler

Apply comprehensive mechanical/electrical skills to assemble sub-component level parts to be attached to higher level assemblies using manual and power tools, fixtures, hoists, and precision measuring equipment.

Senior Electrical Engineer (2 positions)

The Senior Electrical Engineer reports to the Electrical Engineering group manager. The Senior Electrical Engineer performs tasks with minimal supervision and may be called upon to lead project development team activities and mentor junior level designers. Execute electrical engineering duties on a multi-disciplinary product development team tasked to facilitate the successful development, characterization, production and support of industrial water jet machining systems. Prepare design requirements, performance specifications, functional descriptions, and validation plans appropriate to support highly reliable electrical circuit designs in electrically noisy environments.
