The business development specialist will leverage their experience to develop, maintain and expand business relationships with strategically important industry segments and key multi-location target accounts; working at the corporate level to develop a strategy for industry and account penetration, resulting in the achievement of sales and profit objectives and building market share. Customer Service Engineer

Our Customer Service Engineer plays an important role in partnering with customers and internal associates to tackle challenging technical issues in innovative ways. In this critical role, you will serve as the direct escalation path for difficult problems initiated by OMAX customer service and field service technicians and the sole liaison to OMAX engineering team leads. This is a systems type engineer position requiring both mechanical and electrical aptitude with demonstrated experience. This position reports to the Customer Service Director.

Field Service Technician (1 Southern and 1 Northern California)

The selected candidate for this position will report to the Field Service Supervisor. This person will travel to domestic and/or global customer locations weekly from your home location. Uncrating and inventory of the OMAX supplied equipment. Perform system test - repair correct anything not operating properly. Ensure job is complete and the site is clean and tidy. Machine trouble shooting assistance. 2 years of technical school degree or equivalent. 3 years previous experience as a field service technician. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Auto CAD (or similar) drafting software experience. Ability to lift 75 pounds.

Machinist (4 - Second Shift)

Perform complex & specialized machining of all metals including polymers while responding appropriately to ensure completion of all products to production, quality and technical specification. Must have a minimum of five years' experience operating CNC equipment (lathe, mill, radial drill, saw, etc.) in the metal machining industry. Must be self-motivated, a strong team player, accept responsibility and accountability and demonstrate flexibility. High school diploma or equivalent with a two-year Technical Degree or equivalent experience. Large milling machine and 4-axis milling experience strongly desired.

Electro-Mechanical Production Assembler

Apply comprehensive mechanical/electrical skills in the assembly of standard mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical equipment systems. This includes interpretation of bill of materials, blueprints, pneumatic and hydraulic as well as electrical schematics. Requires knowledge in routing wires, assembles and installing low voltage electrical and electronic components, such as circuit boards, communication (CAT5) and power cables, terminal boxes, main control switch panels, and instrument panels, according to specifications, using hand tools, and other equipment. Vocational or accredited certification within the electrical/mechanical field is preferred. Must have 3-5 years of advanced electro-mechanical assembly experience with an original equipment manufacturer, routinely lift 75 lbs. with or without assistance, and work overtime as needed.
