Overview

Ultra-precise abrasivejet machining: When you need ultimate precision with an abrasivejet. The Model 2626|xp JetMachining Center is a programmable abrasive waterjet machining system that produces complex parts out of most materials directly from a CAD drawing or .DXF file. All stainless steel construction (catcher tank, slats and slat holders) prevents rust contamination for medical applications.

Features / Benefits

Standard Features

  • Finer motor command resolution and error mapping.
  • Stainless steel tank, stainless steel slats and stainless slat holders.
  • The OMAX MAXJET® 5 MiniJet Nozzle Assembly offers minimal kerf width of 0.022" and an inside radius of 0.011" for fine detail work.
  • Tilt-A-Jet® automatically removes natural taper of the jet, producing square edged parts with no additional user programming.
  •  Precision Optical Locator.
  • Mounting points for EDM-style tooling.
  • Industrial water resistant keyboard and mouse.
  • OMAX Catcher Tank Cooler for thermal stability.
  • P3055V Pump.
  • 600 lb abrasive delivery system.
  • Solids Removal System (SRS).
  • Precision X-Y Axis rigidly mounted to the cutting table.
  • Pre-loaded linear bearing and precision ball screws.
  • Complete component protection against water, dirt, and grit.
  • Rapid water level control for submerged cutting.

Abrasivejet Benefits

  • Machines a wide range of materials and thicknesses.
  • Does not create heat affected zones or mechanical stresses.
  • Rapid setup, no tool changes are required.
  • Minimal fixturing required.
  • Leaves behind a satin smooth edge, reducing secondary operations.
  • No noxious gases, liquids, or oils are used in (or caused by) the machining process.
  • Completes most work below 80 dBA for submerged cutting.
  • Patented "Compute First-Move Later" motion control system including CAD/ CAM software with online help.

Materials Cut

Materials Cut

Each OMAX JetMachining Center is designed to easily cut an array of materials and thicknesses, from stone, metal, plastic and glass, to rubber, ceramics and composites. Currently, the most profitable precision applications involve metals such as aluminum, tool steel, stainless steel, mild steel and titanium, all materials commonly used in many engineering applications. With the ability to quickly and accurately machine nearly any two-dimensional shape imaginable in thickness up to 1" (2.5cm) or less than 1" (25 mm), OMAX is a versatile addition to any machine shop.

Financing

OMAX® Corporation and your OMAX distributor work with virtually all national lenders, each of whom consider the OMAX JetMachining® Center an excellent in fact "preferred" -- collateral.  That preferential treatment means we can tailor financing to your particular requirements.  Some of our program features include:

  • Ease of Approval (many to most approvals on a one page credit application for an existing business)
  • Delayed Payments
  • Low Down Payments
  • "Start-Up" Financing
  • Financing Options for Upgrades to Your OMAX JetMachining Center (because every OMAX Center upgradeable for new options, since the first OMAX Center)
  • Most importantly extended terms leases to 84 months, often with no prepayment penalties*

If you need particular lease features JUST ASK. At OMAX, we often work with our "lender network" to create a customized lease structure for you.
