Problem: Richard Childress Racing needed to implement new technology that could increase flexibility and improve turnaround time for the shop's prototyping and just-in-time manufacturing processes.

Solution: After installing a 55100 JetMachining Center, RCR experienced a 52% reduction in total machining time for the throttle return spring bracket, an aluminum part that bolts directly to the intake manifold. The JetMachining Center also allowed RCR to increase part production by 53% and produce an additional 12,000 new parts per year.
