The Model 2626|xp JetMachining® Center is a five-axis programmable waterjet machining system designed for maximum precision. Standard features include the Tilt-A-Jet® for taper removal, stainless steel tank and slats, Precision Optical Locator, temperature control to minimize errors due to thermal expansion, and software error mapping to compensate for any remaining errors in an already very precise motion system.

The cutting model is calculated and set at over 4000 points per inch (160 points per mm), twice the precision of standard OMAX machine tools. This machine is ideal for applications where the highest possible precision is required such as EDM shops, medical instruments, aerospace, prototyping, and abrasivejet cutting model research.

Enviromental Requirements

Room air temperature 70º F ( ±2º) maintained for 24 hours prior to and during operation.
Catcher tank water termperture 70º F ( ±1º) maintained through use of OMAX Catcher Tank Cooler.
Machine table must be level and maintained level when jogging machine through the entire travel.
No external mechanical or thermal load is allowed on any part of the machine table .
