Overview
From drawing to finished part in minutes
JetMachining® is a proven process in precision part production. The OMAX JetMachining® Centers make complex flat parts out of most materials—including metal, plastic, glass, ceramics, and composites—to a dynamic positioning accuracy of up to ±0.001", directly from a CAD drawing or DXF file. The JetMachining Center also cuts extremely hard, reflective, and non-conductive materials, making it a natural addition to existing shop capabilities.
An OMAX JetMachining® Center is ideal for short-run part production, just-in-time manufacturing, tooling, and prototype part development. It requires no tool changes or complex fixturing, so you can reduce setup times by at least 50%. The smooth finish it leaves behind often eliminates the need for secondary machining. As a result, a JetMachining® Center can dramatically increase your profitability.

Key Elements
The easy-to-use JetMachining® Centers consist of four key elements:
- A high-accuracy motion controller including abrasivejet expert program
- A precision bridge X axis and Y cantilever axis rigidly mounted
to the cutting table
- An abrasivejet delivery system which forces high-pressure water
through a self-aligned nozzle
- An ultra-high pressure pump which pressurizes water used by the
system
