Mechanical Engineer

Seeking a Mechanical Engineer. Applicant will work within the product Engineering Department assisting in the design and development of systems from concept through production. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining all necessary product documentation interfacing with manufacturing and customer service departments; performing a wide array of mechanical design calculations; developing concept designs that meet product design goals, creating solid model assemblies using SolidWorks, generating part drawings, determining tolerance and fits of assembly parts. BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years experience is required. Strong background in mechanics of material with previous exposure to pressure vessel theory a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage small projects with an extraordinary attention to detail. Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is strongly desired.





Planner/Scheduler

Seeking a Planner/Scheduler. Duties will include: planning and generating shop orders to meet Production requirements; review shop order quantities with Master Scheduler to determine appropriate work loading and inventory levels; analyze MRP Reports; establish on a daily basis to prioritize shop orders, monitor and expedite with buyers and planners to meet Production deadlines. 4+ years of MRP experience in a manufacturing environment and degree in business or manufacturing technology related fields is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills and computer literacy with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. APICS Certification is desirable; experience and working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing preferred.



Quality Inspector/Tester

Inspection of parts received from outside vendors and in-house manufacturing (typically machine shop operations). Should be proficient, or able to quickly learn and use calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, surface plates, height gauges, surface finish indicators, pin gauges, thread gauges, digital multi-meters and similar inspection hand tools. Should be able to read engineering drawings and apply inspection techniques for true dimensioning and tolerancing and surface finish requirements. Comfortable with electronic processing of documentation, rejection reports and material transfer records. Regularly interfaces with engineers, production personnel, buyers and material handlers. Final test of production water jet machines, requiring the hookup of water supply lines, drains and electrical feeds to the machine under test. Functional evaluation, too a supplied checklist, to determine the acceptance of mechanical and software operation, on multiple machine configurations. Must have the ability to troubleshoot some machine problems to determine cause and corrective action. Work environment is typically at an inspection workbench involving the lifting and transport of material and parts on carts and pallets. Machine test is conducted in production areas. Must supply own tools. Tools list will be provided.  



Manufacturing Engineer

Seeking a high energy manufacturing engineer who is able to evaluate, improve, and develop manufacturing processes as needed. This person should utilize his/her knowledge of product design, materials, machining, and assembly processes, to improve safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the manufacturing facility. This person will be responsible to help lead the continuous improvement projects such as cycle time reduction, setup time reduction, inventory reduction, work space utilization, developing new manufacturing processes, designing manufacturing cells, performing time studies and creating work simplification methods and routings. Responsibilities • Carry out formal and timely manufacturability (DFM/DFT) review on all new products. • Assist manufacturing facilities in setting up lines and cells to build new and existing products using modern 'lean' manufacturing practices. • Develop new processes base on new technology requirements • Represent manufacturing facilities in the ECN process, ensure that the changes are achievable and coordinate that feedback in the approval and implementation loop. Qualifications • BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering • Minimum of 3+ years relevant manufacturing experience • Proficient with Solid Works, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other common office tools • Must have the personal traits of a “Change Leader” • Ability to work and lead effectively within a team • Ability to work autonomously or as a contributing team member. • Able to provide technical guidance to other team members. • Demonstrate experience in implementing lean manufacturing concepts • Broad knowledge of production machinery, CNC machine centers, tooling, programming, machining processes, assembly tools and processes • Able to handle multiple projects at one time • Utilize a data-focused approach to problem solving • Able to create and maintain assembly and machining procedures. • Be a team builder – listens and considers input from others • Knowledge of lean philosophies such as one piece flow, kanban, and 5S • Experience developing and maintaining process documentation and with ECN maintenance. • Strong analytical skill and good organizational skill • Effective verbal and written communication skill as well as excellent interpersonal skills • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision  




Senior Drafter/Document Control Specialist


Seeking an experienced senior drafter/document control specialist. Candidate will work within a dynamic engineering department and will be responsible for creating and maintaining BOM’s, drawings, solid models and schematics. Must be very organized and detail oriented. Three years AutoCAD & SolidWorks experience required. Experience with OrCAD or Pads Logic a plus.

Seeking a Buyer.  Responsibilities include compiling the necessary information to take independent action to procure supplies, materials, equipment and service for the company.  Must be able to interface with vendors to obtain pricing and specification of products; be organized with strong computer, written and verbal communication skills.  4 year degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience with MRP required.  CPM or CPIM certification desired.




Field Service Technician (Houston, TX)


Seeking an experienced Field Service Technician in the Houston TX area. Responsibilities include providing installation and training support for fielded equipment and follow-up phone support to successfully resolve customer issues.  Must be able to lift 75 lbs, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, computer literate and comfortable working independently.  90% domestic and international travel required.  AS in technology is desired or 4 years of machine operation, repairs and troubleshooting experience required; fluent in Spanish a plus.



R&D/Prototype Machinist


Seeking an experienced (journeyman) R&D/Prototype Machinist capable of making precision parts from sketches or drawings using common manual machines such as mills, Lathes & surface grinders.  Must be capable of using precision hand tools necessary to measure/QC parts manufactured, experience welding and have an interest in running NC lathe lathes or mills.  Ability to work morning or afternoon shift.
