The OMAX JetMachining Center simplifies abrasivejet machining and places an easy-to-use tool in the workplace. The heart of OMAX is the controller and software that completely control the operation of the abrasivejet.
Some of the advantages of the OMAX are:
- Easy-to-use software
The OMAX software is simple and easy to use. There are buttons for each function, and on-line help provides clear explanations. DXF files created by other CAD programs can be imported and edited.
- Complete software control
The OMAX is completely controlled by software running on a standard PC. The water pump and all machining head movements are under software control, eliminating the need for operator intervention.
- Calculate then move
The entire path and speed of the abrasivejet nozzle is carefully calculated, taking into account the material to be machined and the shape of the part, at a resolution of over 2,000 points per inch (800 points per cm), before the cut is made. This allows the speed of the abrasivejet nozzle to be precisely controlled for smooth, even, cutting.
- Rapid turnaround
The OMAX JetMachining Center gives you the ability to quickly go from drawing to finished part. OMAX economically machines production runs as small as one piece.
- Precise machining
With proper tool setup, OMAX can hold dimensions closer than ±0.005" (±0.1 mm)
